Oh, hey there!

Whoa.  It’s been like 2 weeks since I last posted.  WHERE have I BEEN?!
Just driving for four days.  Moving into a new apartment.  Taking naps non-stop. Trying to find the local Post Office.
You know.  The usual.
I haven’t been posting awesome recipes because my kitchen supplies have been packed away for the last 2-3 months.  Also, we’ve been using disposable plates/utensils.  Haven’t had to run the dishwasher in about 6 weeks.  Thinking about making this permanent.
Mr. Pribs got a job in Cali!  aw yeaa!  He got the official offer less than a week before we were scheduled to move.  You know we love to live by the seat of our pants! (not).
To celebrate, I did what I do BEST - designed some things on the computer, hung up a banner, bought some cupcakes, popped in some cupcake toppers and then served Chic-fil-a for dinner that night.  That's what Mr. Pribs came home to.
You know he was in Heaven.
So, about our drive.  We drove through the rest of Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.  In 4 days.  YEA BOY.  It was a pretty uneventful trip.  Except for that first night.  Ohh, that first night.  Remember that first night, Mr. Pribs? You’re right, let’s not talk about it.
We arrived at our destination in California and almost immediately our landlord told us we were crazy for driving that far.  My response?  “Yes, we are.”
So what now??  Life goes on.  We pick up right where we left off.  Well, right where I left off.   Mr. Pribs is kind of starting two new jobs (two?!) and what-evs.  Cooper is pretty cool with the changes.  He sleeps all day, so nothing looks different to him, right?
Anyway, my point in all of this is: I’m back.  And we’re completely (mostly) totally unpacked (I know where my scrapbooks and camera are), and therefore I will be blogging again.  What about?  Who knows.  I don’t have an agenda.  This blog was/is a place for me to show all my pictures and word-vomit what was on my mind.  So, I’m going to keep on doing that.

Cheers.

P.S.  I’m happy to say that I know where we will be putting up our Christmas tree in our new place.  You KNOW that was my biggest concern moving out here.
