A Thousand Words: 1Sunday, April 26, 2015
They say a picture's worth a thousand words. But what about the words you can't see?
I posted this picture on my Instagram last week in an attempt to be positive.
In my last blog spot I mentioned briefly that I got a flat tire while Rob was out of town. Most likely from a nail from the work being done on our garage roof.
Guess what. I got another flat. From another nail. I noticed it while driving Silas to his babysitter (a friend from church) on Friday morning. Something didn't feel right. Probably because I was driving on one of the hub caps.
Luckily the babysitter lives less than a mile from us. So I chanced it and drove the remaining 1/2 mile, parked my car on their road and walked back home. Have I mentioned that Pittsburgh is very hilly? My shins are still sore.
I worked at home for 5 hours, grabbed my ergo and then walked back to my car where I made a call to Hyundai roadside assistance for them to tow my car to the nearest Hyundai dealership.
Then I picked up Silas, popped him in the Ergo and walked home.
And those are the thousand words this picture is worth.
