This is going to have a lot of pictures and not many words. That's how I roll.
Silas is still not a fan of tummy time, but for the first 10 seconds, before he knows what's going on, he's pretty happy.
After a few minutes though he'll threaten to strangle you if you don't turn him back over.
We had a family photo shoot....this photo was taken near the end when Silas was quickly fading.
Silas loves his feet and loves taking his socks off even more.
Flowers from Mr. Pribs when he came back from Alabama. They're now in the kitchen drying upside down so I can use them as decoration in the dining room.
We're getting more and more use out of the Ergo. I'm starting to use in the stores (see video at end of post).
At only 5 months old, Silas seems to know what the camera is now....and he smiles for it.
He's getting great at sitting in the Bumbo...no more wobbly head. Now he can focus on playing and putting things in his mouth.
As far as home projects, we were forced to start working on the garage (and by we, I do not mean me). I came home from Easter vacation to a gutter and other parts of the roof on the ground....with the gutter partially intact. Mr. Pribs was still out of town, but luckily a friend of ours sent her husband over to cut the hanging gutter off and hammer back in the OTHER gutter.
We knew the garage roof needed work, so after having about 5 quotes given to us from 5 different roofing companies, we decided to DIY this project ourselves. So far we have one side of the roof partially completed with the tar paper. The other half is waiting for another nice weekend.
Also, I ran over a nail in our "driveway". That was the icing on the cake while Rob was still out of town during Easter.
Good news is that we found a really old newspaper (October 1917) in the eaves of the garage, so we think that's when our house must have been built because it looked like someone purposefully place it in a nook of the beams.
Silas' favorite time of day is when daddy gets home from work.
And every night before bed we read him a story from his Bible.
