 On the Thursday before Father's Day weekend, Silas and I went to Target.  You could tell that all the moms and their kids were doing some last minute Father's Day shopping because I kid you not, everyone and their mom were parked along the Father's Day card aisle.  The moms were picking out cards and chasing down their kids saying things like "How about this one?"  "You liked the frog one, remember?"  "Is this the one you want to give to Daddy?"

I can't remember what we gave Rob for Father's Day last year, but I can guarantee you that Silas wasn't that involved since he was only 6 months old at the time.  I wanted this year to be different, so we walked past the card aisle at Target and hit up the kids crafting area and bought some paint (washable, always washable!) and stickers.

Silas had never painted before this., but he did exactly as I hoped he would.....stuck the paint brush in all of the colors (before painting the paper) and did random strokes all over the place.  And here's what we came up with.

 We also made a digital version for those far away.  Silas let me paint his hands and stamp them on paper.  I then did some photoshop magic and we came up with this:
