GATEWAY CLIPPER

Thursday, September 29, 2016

A couple of months ago, we were gifted a pair of tickets to go out for a "picnic" lunch sightseeing cruise on the Gateway Clipper.

This was one of those things that I've always seen on the water when driving along the road and wondering if/when I'd ever get to experience a boat ride myself.

We boarded the boat at 11am and took off at 12pm.  The cruise lasted for two hours.  We were served a buffet lunch that consisted of fried chicken, nachos, potato wedges, fresh salad, strawberry short cake and more!  Yum.  The lunch alone was worth the ride.

Once lunch was through, the captain came over the intercom and gave us fun tidbits about different parts of the city as we passed them.

The cruise was very laid back and relaxing and the weather was great.  If I had to chance to go again, I would!
