Ladies and Gents, it has been one year.
One year of laughter, moving 700 miles from home, trying to raise a freaking crazy puppy, learning to deal with bugs everywhere, taking way too many pictures, watching SO many episodes of thebigbangtheory and bones and house, me changing my mind every 5 seconds, Rob flying a helicopter like he already knew how to, having way too many people over on one night, holding everyone else’s babies and giving Rob the “i want one” look, sleeping in on Saturday mornings, finding any excuse to go to Dothan so that we can eat Chicfila (becauseRob’sobsessed), raking up way too many acorns, driving with the top down, snuggling every.single.day, making tons of baked goods and forcing them down Rob’s throat, giving Rob botched haircuts, reminding each other of what we’re thankful for, visiting with family, planning for our own, sweating after one mile walks in the Alabama heat, me whining every time I get a cold, Cooper pawing us to death, way too many conversations about cars and technology, daily devotions together, sweeping up piles and piles of dirt, breaking glasses in the dishwasher, letting the flowers die and then bringing them back to life, selling Etsy cards, blogging about our adventures, running two miles and hating how hilly it is here, making the best decision ever and buying a king size bed, scrap booking our memories, sewing anything and everything, saying Goodbye to Penny and Corky, me suggesting we “take a picture” five thousand times, switching from Apple to Android, playing fetch inside the house and never outside, paying bills and saving money, watching the summer olympics, filling in dog dug holes, getting tons of wedding invitations for weddings we can’t go to, hearing the helicopters fly over our house and the sound of artillery at night, doing projects together, lighting candles and drinking tons of diet coke, reading on our kindles, learning how to make and then inhale sweet tea, walking the backyard trails and throwing Cooper into the creek, tickling each other, mellow mushroom – lots of it, going to the gas station for drinks, flirting, encouraging each other, forgetting to switch the laundry to the dryer, talking about California, looking back at wedding pictures.
One year of being the Pribs.
I love you, Rob!
Now let’s go stuff our faces with year old cake.
